Walking home yesterday, I took a route I'd never followed before. This part of the city, below Geary between Octavia and Van Ness, can be very ramshackle in places, and is very car-oriented. As I was meandering, I ran across the Free Farm, a public garden at the corner of Gough and Eddy. It's not the most refined space in SF, but I found it to be beautiful in it's own way.
